Amos Andersons Hem

Yrjönkatu 27, 00100 Helsinki

Amos Andersons Hem is a home and art museum situated in the former apartment of the business man and patron of the arts Amos Anderson (1878–1961). The museum is located on Yrjönkatu in Helsinki.

The museum comprises four rooms on the fifth floor of the apartment as well as the chapel with the organ half a floor up. The museum exhibits art from Anderson's own collections, as well later acquired artworks. On display is a selection of older European art from the 16th century onwards, as well as Finnish art from the later half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.

The museum offers an excellent opportunity to discover a magnificent 1920s bourgeois home, as well as the art collection where both Amos Anderson himself and the past Amos Anderson's Art Museum have left their marks. Amos Anderson's Art Museum evolved into Amos Rex and moved into its new premises beneath the ground in the nearby Lasipalatsi (Glass Palace) in 2018.
