Yona: Eden-levynjulkaisukiertue – Sold out!

Yona releases her ninth solo album and embarks on a major concert hall tour

Singer-songwriter Yona will release her ninth studio album in the autumn and embark on an album release tour of concert halls across Finland. The Eden album will be released on 20 September, and the tour will start in October.

“Eden is about an inner sanctuary, a love that transcends everything, and letting go. The album was made together with producer Mauri Syrjälä and my lovely band. Eden is a familiar organic sound for Yona, but unlike previous albums, it’s more influenced by electronic music, has more beats and is more mystical”, says Yona about the upcoming album.

The shows on the album release tour will have two parts. In addition to the new album, the concerts will also feature many of Yona’s best-loved songs from her previous albums.

“Each of our gigs is unique and we always give our all to the music. I’m very excited and looking forward to diving into Eden together”, says Yona enthusiastically about the tour.

Yona is known for her open-minded and unique ways of combining different musical genres in her art. Yona’s songs are characterised by a personal touch, a strong emotional atmosphere and cinematic proportions. The artist was awarded the Critics’ Choice Emma Award and the Teosto Award for her previous album, Uni.

Yona’s expressive band consists of Juhani Grönroos (guitar), Juho Kanervo (cello), Antti Kujanpää (keyboard), Tuomas Timonen (drums), Antti Kivimäki (bass), Paavo Malmberg (vocals) and Jaakko Peltonen (lights).
