Tuomo Manninen

Tuomo Manninen (b. 1962) has photographed various groups around the world since the 1990s. In the photos, the group consists of, for example, parents on the edge of the sandbox, theatre actors or, for example, tram drivers.

Manninen is interested in what kind of things make a group. Group portraits capture the image of the times, social norms and perspectives on the power structures of society.
