LiedLab 00100 presents its first concert celebrating the life and poetry of Edith Södergran on the 100th anniversary of her death.

Norwegian soprano Linnéa Sundfær Casserly and Finnish pianist Kristian Attila will perform the Finnish premiere of a newly commissioned song cycle which masterfully embodies a true synthesis of two art forms exploring themes of equality, feminism, and a profoundly spiritual connection with nature through the strongly individualistic and fearless poetry of Edith Södergran and the musical sensitivity and sensibility of Swiss composer Silvan Loher. Also programmed will be the song cycle Haugtussa by Edvard Grieg.

Performers:
Linnéa Sundfær Casserly, soprano
