The March to Seven Wonders
March to Seven Wonders conquers with a show that’s never been seen before in Finland.
March to Seven Wonders conquers with a show that’s never been seen before in Finland.
The musical adventure that features marching displays, musical numbers and over 300 performers grows into a massive and impressive show for the whole family. March to Seven Wonders follows a classical game structure, where heroes need to complete a series of levels to get ahead. The military bands act as challenges during the different levels; some as labyrinth-like elements and some as guardians of the treasure. The show fills an entire ice rink and the visuals of the gaming world are brought to life by ten big screens.
The show includes newly composed music and the audience feels as if it were playing the game live. The massive opening and closing acts have the audience gasping for breath, as all 300 performers take the stage simultaneously. The fantastic Kaisa Leppänen and Tuuli Paju are starring in the main roles.
The performance is written by Samuel Harjanne, Jack Johansson and Petrus Kähkönen, and is directed by Harjanne and Kähkönen. All military bands are featured: the Guards Band, the Navy Band, the Dragoon Band, the Lapland Military Band, the Conscript Band and the Air Force Band. The shows are completed by the addition of Rauma, Kotka & Hamina Youth Orchestras and local youth bands.
