The Elvis Concert 2023 tour brings together original Elvis musicians

Have you ever dreamed what it would be like to see the legendary King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, alive and in top form singing in his unique sound some of his classics, such as Suspicious Minds, Blue Suede Shoes and Love Me Tender?

Elvis was born 87 years on ago on Monday 8 January, and he died 45 years ago but his legacy is still very much alive. Elvis is still known as one of the best live performers and he was one of the most influential artists of all time. Elvis’ music is still played and thanks to computer-generated imagery (CGI) enabled by modern technology Elvis appeared in the hit movie Blade Runner 2049 that was released last year.

Next April, the Elvis Concert 2023 will take you back to the time when the king ruled the stage. This is the closest you will get to a real Elvis concert.

Singer Dwight Icenhower (41) is widely recognized as one of the best Elvis tribute artists in the world. Dwight has won the World's Best Elvis title four times; even those who worked with Elvis have been amazed at Dwight’s skill. Dwight’s performance can be described with the words passion and skill. He does not try to be Elvis but recognises that there is only one Elvis and he is just a tribute fan.

The Elvis Concert 2023 also includes musicians who worked with Elvis. Drummer Bob Lanning performed with Elvis in the early 1970s in Las Vegas and he can be heard in the original versions of The Wonder of You, See See Rider and Polk Salad Annie. A clear highlight next spring will be the participation of tenor Jim Murray from The Imperials vocal group on the tour. Jim was involved in concerts after Elvis’ comeback and he plays in the concert recording That's the Way It Is, released in 1970. Elvis loved gospel music and often after concerts, he relaxed by singing gospel songs with Jim Murray. Next spring, we will bring those magical moments to the stage: Jim and Dwight will perform together several of Elvis' favourite gospel songs, such as How Great Thou Art and Sweet, Sweet Spirit.
