Silmien Takana: David Ramirez (US) – First Finnish Tour

Americana songwriter David Ramirez has released six albums, the styles of which range from traditional songwriter music to bigger band sounds. 

The Texan with a deep baritone has been praised by the New York Times, Q Magazine, Uncut and Classic Rock Magazine. In 2020, the Austin Chronicle chose Ramirez as the songwriter of the year with the accompanying words: "The Houston native writes with unrivaled emotional grit, fearless in confronting his own doubts and struggles with a powerfully poetic lens". 

Now Ramirez is coming to Finland with his band for a mini tour performing at On the Rocks Silmien Takana Club.

The evening will be opened by The Iron Country Sisters with their first appearance in Helsinki in two years.
