"Les 2 Alfred" is a comedy film directed by the French filmmaker Bruno Podalydes, depicting contemporary life. The film was part of the official selection at the Cannes Film Festival in 2020.
Desperate and unemployed, Alexandre is given two months to prove to his wife that he can take care of their two young children and be financially independent. The start-up called "The Box" wants to hire him on a trial basis, but there's a problem: "The Box" strictly adheres to a "No children!" policy, and his future supervisor Séverine is an explosive career woman. Alexandre must thus lie to get the job.
Will the encounter with "the entrepreneur of his own life" and "the king of small gigs found on apps," Arcimboldo, help this brave and bewildered man overcome all these challenges?
