Sami Leponiemi Quartet

Experience the artistry of Sami Leponiemi, a rising star in the Finnish jazz scene.

Drawing inspiration from jazz and classical music, his compositions and improvisations showcase a seamless fusion of genres. Currently studying at the esteemed Sibelius Academy's jazz department, he recently spent a transformative year in Paris.

During this time, Leponiemi had the honor of performing alongside jazz legend Chuck Israels, both in Paris and in his home country of Finland. With accolades like winning the Huittisten Hullu Puhallus competition in 2017, Leponiemi's virtuosity shines through in bands such as Sir Garrison, Sami Saari & Jazzpojat and Sointi Jazz Orchestra.
