Hanami is a Japanese term for the practice or custom of viewing cherry blossoms when they are in full bloom. This is possible in Roihuvuori district, where there are approx. 275 cherry trees in Kirsikkapuisto (Cherry Park) and Japanese Garden.
Hanami Festival has various Japanese themed shows, food stalls and beautiful blossoming cherry trees. The park has lots of space for picnics.
