Peace - a Christmas Concert in a Dark Church

The Värinä Chamber Choir cherishes a special Christmas tradition: an annual concert titled Peace, held in a dark church, lit by only a few candles. 

Beautiful, slow melodies offer a moment of rest in the middle of the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle. The soothing, relaxing music washes away everyday troubles and also inspires hope of peace to all countries inflicted by war. The choir sings a selection of well-known classics and enchanting new music, and naturally some of the best-loved Finnish Christmas songs.
