Open Afro dance classes at Kanneltalo

Come and explore West African dances and get some exercise to the beat of live rhythms on the last weekdays of August at Sitratori square in Kannelmäki!

West African dance is cheerful, energetic and fast-paced. The classes include a warm-up session and introduction to West African rhythm and movement. You also learn a short choreography. The class ends with relaxing and restorative stretches.

The classes are suitable for everyone: you can come as a beginner to explore a new dance, or with previous experience to get a laid-back early start to the autumn of dance!

Free admission; in case of rain we dance under the canopy. Bring a casual dance outfit, a gym towel and a bottle of water.
