It is an intuitive appreciation of the ephemeral beauty in the material world, reflecting the irreversible flow of life in the spiritual world. This concept is a form of thinking and creative belief that originates from Taoism and Zen, which are the historical principles of oriental aesthetics.
Oi Ling Ng (b.1982): “I have worked as a visual artist creating digital art, Chinese ink paintings, calligraphy and illustrations. I was brought up surrounded by Western and Eastern cultures. I combine these cultural elements with ancient ink art and modern technology.”
