Nightbird + I'm Kingfisher

Nightbird is Anna-Stina Jungerstam, a Vaasa-born singer-songwriter and guitarist located in Helsinki. 

Her songs are equally rooted in Finnish melancholy and the great American folk treasures. Nightbird sings the soundtrack to sleepless nights, blending velvet midnight jazz songs and moon-gazing slide guitars to the echo of the delta pioneers. Her songs spin tales
from the life of a ramblin’ woman, finding her way back home. 

In spring 2023, the Swedish singer-songwriter Thomas Jonsson returned with his new album “Glue”, and went on tour supporting Courtney Marie Andrews, and after that another run with The Jayhawks. 

With a desolate mood, dreamy voice and an own-minded guitar technique, Jonsson shows just why he’s been regarded as a hidden treasure of Scandinavian indie folk for years now, while still getting the attention of the likes of NPR, Uncut, KEXP and Clash internationally.
