29.4. opening concert at 17.00: Krista Siegfrids
Join to celebrate the grand re-opening, featuring a bubbly performance by the brilliant artist Krista Siegfrids. To add to the festivities, the first 500 visitors will be treated to free green ice cream by Söderlångvik Glass, in the spirit of the enormous green Moss Giants that adorn the square.

30.4. May Day party 15.00–19.00, DJ Bunuel and dance studio Fokus
Dance classes and performances from Dancemix to After Work Dance on the square stage by the dancers and teachers of dance studio Fokus. Legendary DJ Bunuel will provide music with song selections spanning from the 1920s to the present day.

1.5. Long table May Day picnic 11.00–16.00, Sami Saari and Jazzpojat, Trio N O X
A long picnic table will be set up in the Lasipalatsi Square, bringing people together around the same table in the spirit of May Day. If you have left your own picnic lunch at home, you can pick up something to eat from the restaurants in  Kulttuurikasarmi and Lasipalatsi. No reservations are accepted for the picnic table, which can accommodate around 120 people. Sami Saari and Jazzpojat will serve up some danceable jazz and soul while Trio N O X will play string versions of evergreen tango classics to Swallow the Sun.
