Liisa Kallio: Related to Primates

Illustrator and artist Liisa Kallio’s exhibition consists of charcoal drawings which reflect on humanity, its phenomena, emotional states and concepts.

The drawings contain kindness, anger, peace, frenzy, sadness, gusto and the touch of death. Kallio approaches these grand themes through images in which the different sides of humanity present themselves as identifiable, yet open to interpretation. The undertone is hopeful and expresses love to humans.
