Leija Lautamaja

Leija Lautamaja is a Helsinki-based artist and musician who has previously toured the world with several successful folk bands, such as ENKEL and Floating Sofa.

In her solo music, Leija takes a more fennistic approach. Her original music is gentle Finnish rock, the sound of which is a combination of pump organ, electric guitar and a retro rhythm machine.

Her delightful sound clings to the soul and reminds us of pioneers like Samuli Putro and Gösta Sundqvist, while maintaining its own fresh and unique atmosphere.
