Kolibrí Festival – Joy and happiness for the whole family!

The Kolibrí Festival for the whole family takes place for the thirteenth time this year, this time in Malmitalo.

At the Kolibrí Festival, artists from around the world offer workshops, storytelling, performances and lots of fun activities for children and adults alike. The themes of the festival are experienced through art, dance, theatre, music, film.

In 2023, Kolibrí has the honour of hosting Uruguayan children’s author and filmmaker Alfredo Soderguit and the Teatro al Vacío, a theatre company from Argentina and Mexico. In addition, there will be a Kolibrí children’s book fair in the Malmitalo lobby.

Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the first Chilean refugee families in Finland. Come and meet people, learn new languages, discover new cultures and, above all, make new friends.
