Kirpi Uimonen: Meeting with the Stars

The Meeting with the Stars photo exhibition features famous Hollywood people from Julia Roberts to Angelina Jolie and from Robert Redford to Brad Pitt. The exhibition consists of 28 pictures.

Uimonen has lived in Los Angeles for 20 years. Because of her work, she meets world-famous television and film industry professionals. The photos of the exhibition were taken in the 2010s at press conferences organized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Uimonen started her career as a journalist in the early 1990s. She wrote about music, fashion, beauty, health, film and television series for Finland’s biggest magazines and newspapers. In 2002 she moved to Los Angeles, and from there continued to deliver news from the entertainment world. In 2011 she was elected as a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. It is known around the world for the Golden Globe Gala. Uimonen is currently a member of the organization’s board.

Meeting with the Stars exhibition includes photos of Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Viola Davis, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck, Lady Gaga, Anthony Hopkins, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Redford, Julianne Moore, Jason Momoa, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Drew Barrymore, Jodie Foster, Susan Sarandon, Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Sigourney Weaver, Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino and David Lynch.
