Etno-Espa is an annual city festival that focuses on modern folk music.

Kardemimmit is a four-piece female kantele ensemble who not only play and sing but also compose, arrange and produce their own music.

In addition to 15- and 38-string kanteles, singing is an important part of Kardemimmi’s tonal universe, with its roots deep down in Finnish, Eastern European and Scandinavian traditions.

Kardemimmit released their sixth studio album titled Sisko muistatko? (“Sister, do you remember?”) in September 2022 during their American tour, marking their 22 years together as a group.
