Kaivohauki is a spoken word work about the intertwining of a trans woman's intertwined relationship with nature and gender in her body.

some say that it was a lonely girl who no longer wanted to live in the world of people, but wanted to live under the waves

The starting point of the work is the desire that arose after transition to rediscover one’s relationship with nature – to find a new kind of relationship with nature. Like its maker, it is sensitive, particularly meandering, sometimes funny, and quite often somewhere where you can find an underdog.

The work includes discussion about a trans woman's relationship with her body, body standards and body control, as well as body size and weight.
