Juha Vanonen: Sail to the Moon

Juha Vanonen’s minimalistic abstract paintings mix spontaneous and deliberate touch. 

The paintings in the exhibition are made up of minimal elements that create a space of their own. They take the viewer far away from representational conventions and verbal explanations. Some sections appear to have been carefully painted, while others are scattered here and there, creating a dynamic and vibrant whole. As the title of the exhibition suggests, we are sailing towards the moon.
