J. S. Bach: Christmas Oratorio

The organ’s opening week of Musiikkitalo culminates in J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio performed by Cantores Minores and conducted by Hannu Norjanen. 

The orchestral part of the piece will be performed by two organists, Ilpo Laspas and Irina Vavilova, on two consoles. 

Cantores Minores (founded in 1952) is Finland’s largest and most professional boys’ choir and choir school, which offers boys and young men musical and spiritual education in the Helsinki region.
