Iron Country Sisters is a Finnish band formed by three sisters in 2014. The sisters’ music is influenced by modern and traditional americana, and their original sound leans on strong vocals and soulful harmonies perfected through singing together since childhood.
Iron Country Sisters released their debut album, The Blue Hidden In, in 2019. The album received great reviews in the Finnish music media. David Fricke from the Rolling Stone magazine praised the band in Radio Helsinki:
”If they came from Nashville or Alabama or Kentucky, this would be an immediate Americana sensation in the States. This is something that critics would be all over. And, you know, indie fans and such.”
Iron Country Sisters has recorded a song with one of the most celebrated Finnish artists, Ismo Alanko, and performed at the most prominent rock clubs and festivals in Finland. The band has also supported artists such as Daniel Romano, The Posies, Doug Seegers, Yola, David Ramirez and Steve ’n’ Seagulls.
