Are music and art the passport for travelling around the world? Koïro Duo is a collaboration between Manu Rosales from Argentina and Stephanie Kobori from Brazil-Germany. They shape an acoustic dialogue that weaves together the guitar, clarinet, and vocal arrangements to create a personal and intimate musical experience.
Koïro Duo presents a repertoire featuring original compositions of their own and by emerging artists from South America. Their repertoire shows a diverse selection of rhythms and contemporary songs. The duo showcases the distinct musical landscapes of Brazil, Argentina and the Andean region, drawing inspiration from renowned figures such as Baden-Powell, Caetano Veloso, Elis Regina from Brazil and Cuchi Leguizamón, Atahualpa Yupanqui, Mercedes Sosa from Argentina.
