Helsinki Seagulls - or Gulls, as they’re called among friends - was founded in 2013 and has played in Finland's men’s basketball league Korisliiga since 2014. During its short history, the team has already placed third in the championships four times in 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2020-21 and 2021-22. Seagulls gained its first gold medal ever by winning the Finnish Cup in January 2020, followed by cup wins also in 2021 and 2022. The team plays its home games at the Töölö Sports Hall, to sold out crowds every time.
