Helsinki Police Symphonic Band: Elvis & Friends Las Vegas show
For seven years, Elvis was the biggest attraction in Las Vegas. His modern show changed the whole game and paved the way for Celine Dion, Elton John, Britney Spears and Cher, who all have called the Vegas stage home.
Finland’s supreme Elvis interpreter, the sparkly-eyed and loose-hipped acrobat of the big stage, Mikko Leppilampi, will build the Elvis & Friends in Las Vegas show with the Helsinki Police Symphonic Band in the atmospheric Savoy Theatre.
“Elvis” will be joined by one of the most esteemed Voice of Finland finalists, musical and jazz star Jennie Storbacka. Jennie will perform her sovereign renditions of the music of some of Vegas’ biggest female stars, including Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Adele.
The colourful orchestrations of the police’s large symphonic brass band will leave no one cold, with songs such as John Williams’ Cowboys and Richard Strauss’ Also spach Zarahustra.
