The Helsinki Lit translation literature festival celebrates its 10th anniversary at Savoy Theatre in May – tickets now on sale

The Helsinki Lit translation literature festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary next spring. The 10th anniversary festival will take place at Savoy Theatre on 24–25 May, where Helsinki Lit’s successful run began a decade ago. The tickets are now on sale.

Over the past ten years, Helsinki Lit has hosted dozens of international literary stars, from Nobel Prize winners to Booker and Pulitzer Prize winners. In 2023, Helsinki Lit hosted Annie Ernaux, who had just won the Nobel Prize for Literature, and tickets for the festival sold out in advance during March 2023.

The full programme for the 10th anniversary will be published in February 2024. As usual, the festival will host internationally renowned author guests, who will participate in discussions with selected Finnish authors, journalists and influencers. This year, there will also be a special festive programme and atmospheric compilations from over the years.

The publishers and other partners and supporters of the festival will be announced when the programme is published in February.

The stalls will only be allowed for over 18s. The balcony will be allowed for people of all ages.
