Heights And Depths – film screening and discussion

In honour of Hungarian Film Day, Sándor Csoma's drama Heights And Depths (Magasságok és mélységek, 2022), based on real events, will be screened with Finnish subtitles  at WHS Teatteri Union.

The film is about the experiences of mountaineer Hilda Sterczer after she learns of the disappearance of her husband, the world-famous mountaineer Zsolt Erős, in the Himalayas.

After the film, Helga Kovács-Sárközi, director of the Liszt Institute, talks with Hilda Sterczer, the director of the Hópárduc Wall Climbing Foundation, and the main character of the film. The conversation will be conducted in Hungarian and translated into Finnish.
