Flok

Flok is the upcoming household name of Finnish a cappella. Consisting of music professionals, the award-winning line-up is trying to reform Finnish a cappella by writing new, original pop music.

Flok's production combines vocal ensemble music with modern production. Flok have been seen in concert halls as well as at sold-out club and festival gigs. The band won the international Tampere Vocal Music Festival’s ensemble contest in the amplified ensemble category in June 2023. Winners of the award include Rajaton and Club for Five, among others. In addition, Flok won the public vote of the contest with their debut single.

Flok has amassed over a million views on its TikTok videos (@flokvocals) and succeeded in its goal of enticing a younger audience to the genre. Flok has received praise from both record companies and artists for its covers published on social media.

The concert is part of the Meidän Uusimaa concert series supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation’s Uusimaa Regional Fund.
