Favourite Colours - record release + Primary Delusion

Debut album releasing Favourite Colours is a new Helsinki-based indie band led by Aaro Seppänen, who started the project while studying music production in Berlin. The 5-piece indie group's music echoes the etherealness of the eighties bands like Cocteau Twins, merging together electronic and organic, atmospheric soundscapes. At the same time the band's music takes a lot of influence from more rhytmic music genres like new wave and even hiphop, resulting in a kind of a unique combination of catchiness and dreampop. On top of lush instrumentals lays Seppänen's personal singing style, sometimes adding even spoken word to the mix.

Primary Delusion’s music draws inspiration from the sounds and sensibilities of late 70s and early 80s post-punk, new wave and goth rock movements, while staying firmly rooted in modern times, exploring the interplay between art, dreams and reality.
