Eino Leinon eksät – – enemmän ja vähemmän muusina (more and less mashed together)
A hilariously funny and insightful monologue play, as its name suggests, marches to the stage with a whole bunch of Eino Leino's chosen.

Their performances have charmed viewers and critics all over Finland and were awarded as the best performance in the National Monologue Competition in Oulu 2019.
In addition to his rhymes, the poet, who rose to the status of a national poet and perhaps the most beloved poet in Finland, was known for his bohemian and lush lifestyle, as well as his numerous attractions. Of them, L. Onerva and Aino Kallas are undoubtedly the most famous muses, but the performance also accommodates a whole bunch of wives and many other significant women of his time, such as the fairytale queen of the nation, Anni Swan.
Both the #MeToo-empowered Antiikin muusa and Maila Talvio, the cultural madame who idolized Nazi Germany add their own spice into the soup. There are no words spared when Eino's exes get to vent at an anonymous therapy session – both drunken artist men and the wives that hold them up get an earful.
“I enjoyed every word, gesture and moment. There was no end to the applause, everyone understood that they had seen something of unique magnificence." – Matti Kuusela, Aamulehti ★★★★★
“I'm not surprised by the success. Eino Leinon eksät is a truly complete package of monologue art: lots of crisp humour, cultural history, tearing down idols and the irony of the muse concept” – Rolf Bamberg, Demokraatti magazine for Tampere Theatre Festival 2019
