Draft! takes you to the forest to strain your senses and explore nature through art and environmental education methods.

The local forest serves as a learning environment and the starting point for making art. The aim is to strengthen the pupils’ connection to nature and environmental citizenship, as well as to provide teachers with tools for dealing with environmental topics.

Five sessions of this course package take place mainly in outdoors. During the course, you study the diversity of nature and our own relationship, including one longer trip to an islet, with a forested exhibition opening held at the end. So bring your loupes and art supplies – let’s go to a forest in spring!

Course themes and locations vary from season to season. The teaching places are the Matokallio forest, Stoa and the Mustavuori forest.
