A wonderful interactive poetry concert to celebrate Kirsi Kunnas' 100th birthday.
Reading of Kirsi Kunnas' poems to music and discussion on the texts with children. – Let's also come up with brand new songs about the characters in the poems: how is Mr. Piipoo these days, what about Jansmakko the Frog? We also hear new songs written by Duo Keksintö about Krumeluu the Cat, Pots and Potatoes, Wild Riders and how the pig went to the barber. Sing and sway if you feel like it!
The performers are Duo Keksintö, that is, the professionals of participatory music making and children's culture: Isa-Eerika Lehto and Johanna Viksten.
Isa-Eerika Lehto is a musician and music teacher from the Sibelius Academy Department of Music Education. She is “Master Molto” at children’s programme Pikku Kakkonen and a member of its Seikkailukone band. Sge plays guitar, bass, and wind instruments. Isa is a music theatre professional and is known for the band Tarharyhmä, which also included Maija Vilkkumaa.

Fans with good ears may recognise Johanna's voice, for example, as Viiru from the Viiru and Pesonen films, as well as Moominmamma in the Moominworld films.
