Forest bathing (shinrin-yoku, a.k.a. forest therapy) was developed in Japan in the 1980’s. It is an evidence-based, mindfulness-related practice that enhances the health effects of nature and promotes relaxation, reduces stress and improves the immune system.
Meet your guide at the Ullanlinnanlaituri Pier and hop on the boat to Harakka Island, where the guide will prompt you to do relaxing sensory, breathing and mindfulness practices to help you feel more present and alive. Afterwards there will be served Finnish snacks and wild berry shots at a seaside fireplace.
