The sapling of memories is a metaphor for the sapling of the mind, the forest that grows within us, whose branches reach out to distant memories

The sapling of memories is a metaphor for the sapling of the mind, the forest that grows within us, whose branches reach out to distant memories, to the beyond and the unexpected future.

The memory persists, travels and lives on the branches of the trees, growing and blossoming, until it once again goes dormant in a dark slumber. Autumnal hues tell of this dormant slumber, where the leaves of the autumnal season cover the past that crumbles beneath our feet. Something is always hidden from understanding, sight, memory. Something unknown that remains in the shadows of the mists.
