Antila/Mäkynen/Tuuri Trio

Younger generation jazz artists Mikko Antila and Joonas Tuuri, and one of Finland's most famous jazz drummers Teppo Mäkynen, join forces.

Antila/Mäkynen/Tuuri Trio is a trio of top musicians who play swinging music with a lively atmosphere. The trio consists of players from the younger generation, Mikko Antila and Joonas Tuuri, and one of Finland’s most famous jazz drummers, Teppo Mäkynen. 

The band played for the first time at Manala’s Afterwork Jazz, and it was clear from the first notes that the trio would continue making music in the future. The feeling of eloquent and relaxed improvisation combined with classic songs creates a really intimate and engaging atmosphere.
