 The Aleksi Heinola Quartet will perform music from their new album  at the Liszt Institute in April

Aleksi Heinola has assembled his quartet of internationally renowned top musicians. The band's sound is rich, energetic, elegant, with swinging grooves and interplay between the musicians. The quartet's music has strong roots in the timeless and trendy hard bop tradition of the 60s, with a modern twist. 

The ensemble's repertoire consists of original compositions, as well as rarely heard jazz classics. The musicians' flexibility and tremendous skill allow for a wide musical repertoire, giving the band the freedom and sense of spontaneity to make each concert a unique experience for both musicians and audience.
