The joint A&DO Labra exhibition of the Museum of Finnish Architecture and Design Museum Helsinki has been touring Finland for two years.
Now, the exhibition of architectural and design learning set up in two shipping containers returns to Helsinki – with all of the lessons learned during the tour. A&DO Labra will arrive at Vuotalo courtyard in Vuosaari, which will provide an excellent location for people of all ages to examine the nearby environment.
The A&DO Labra challenges visitors to consider what kind of architecture and design ensures good day-to-day living and sustainable development. What would you like your living environment to be like in the future? What is a good local environment like? The aim of the exhibition is to get you to think about your environment critically. You can think about these things alone, with a friend or in a group. No ready-made solutions will be available. The aim is to show that the future is not predetermined. We can all impact the environment of the future.
