Redrib Helicopter Experience

The day starts with a Helicopter tour starting from Helsinki. You can choose between your own transport or order a private chauffeur from your hotel to the departing airport. On the H-platform you will meet the helicopter pilot and the crew for departure info.
After the take off procedure you will see the city of Helsinki in a flyover, while enjoying a glass of complimentary champagne. You can also choose to save the champagne bottle to be enjoyed after the flight on the island instead. The tour takes you over the archipelago with over 178.000 islands in an approx 20 min. flight in to the eastern archipelago. Here we land on the bare cliffs on one of these islands. We choose a natural state open air island with covered grilling facilities, dressing room and dry outdoor toilet or and island with all modern facilities like saunas and indoor toilets, dinner and lunch facilities according to your booking and weather conditions.
On the island our REDRIB host will welcome you. We start to prepare for either the survival suit swim or the nature walk with archipelago guiding. This program will take approx 1 hour.
On the survival suit swim you can try how it feels to float around in cold or icy waters staying warm and dry. We have all the equipment needed for this experience, you can come as you are. In the colder season we recommend a wool sweater or a thin down wind jacket underneath the waterproof survival suit. Our supervisor will stay with you in the water for the whole time.
After and during the survival suit swim you hear a short briefing about hypothermia, rescue at sea and other useful information.
The swim is followed by a relaxing archipelago snack either in front of a camp fire or indoors, according to location. If you have booked extras as a sauna and/or lunch/dinner, these will take place indoors in modern facilities.
After the relaxing moment it is time to prepare for the speed drive with the RIB boat back to Helsinki. We have all passenger equipment included.
