In this Finntastic tour, you will learn about the past and present of Finland. Join the tour to discuss together the Finnish culture, history, and lifestyle. The tour is going to be not only informative, but also very fun!

The tour starts at 10:30 every morning at Senate square next to the statue of Alexander II, and the guide holds a sign saying "Helsinki Walking Tour". The tour is in English.

During the walking tour, we will visit the highlights of Helsinki on foot:

- Helsinki cathedral and senate square, where the history of modern Helsinki begins!
- Government Palace
- University of Helsinki
- Market square, what should you eat and buy from Finland?
- Seaview point and Sauna,
- Esplanade Park, or Helsinki's Champs-Élysees
- Aleksanterinkatu street and its unique buildings
- Central Train Station
- Helsinki Central Library Oodi, the best public library in the world in 2019!

Please note that:
- Helsinki Cathedral cannot be visited during the tour if a church event is taking place,
- Market square has few shops open in the winter, and no shops in rainy and snowy days.
- There is no toilet and coffee break during the tour, so please plan beforehand.
- The tour is free, but you tip the guide at the end of the tour. For your convinience the guide carries a card reader, but cash is accepted too.

During the tour you will also learn about the Finnish sauna and get some recommendations of the best public saunas! A Finn usually jumps into cold water after sauna, what about you?
