Natura is a casual restaurant accessible to all, serving food made from high-quality ingredients – a place where Finnish nature blends with the surrounding city of Helsinki, where modern dishes are served with a smile and cooked in an open kitchen by our passionate staff in a relaxed atmosphere.
The food is local, organic, and super fresh, sourced from Finnish and Scandinavian small producers with the main focus on Finnish game, vegetables, and sustainable seafood.
In summer, a large proportion of our vegetables and herbs comes from Natura´s own farm in Helsinki.
Wild herbs and berries are foraged within 50 km from the restaurant. The farmed meat comes from small, family-run businesses that they have personally visited and that share our respect and passion for the industry.
Fermenting, pickling, charcoal grilling, salting, hot and cold smoking with David's innovative and personal touch constitutes the backbone of our cooking. David draws inspiration from Finnish nature, the surrounding city of Helsinki and his travels around the world, combined with his knowledge and experience gained from working at Michelin one-, two- and three-star restaurants.
In 2022, the world's most prestigious restaurant guide, the Michelin Guide, awarded Natura The MICHELIN Green Star, highlighting restaurants at the forefront of the industry regarding their sustainable practices.
In 2021 and 2022, Natura was chosen among a few top restaurants in the Nordics by 360°EAT GUIDE. In its publication, the restaurants are ranked by sustainability and gastronomy.
