Nuuksiontie 83, 02820 Espoo
Nuuksio Reindeer Park is the southernmost place in Finland where you can see reindeer. The park is open to the public mainly on weekends and at other times by reservation only. Tickets for public opening hours can be purchased online on Nuuksio Reindeer Park’s website or on-site. The admission fee includes lichen for feeding the reindeer, coffee brewed over an open fire (or tea), and a bun enjoyed by the fire inside a traditional Lappish hut. A small souvenir shop is also open. The park is not very large, so a visit of approximately one hour is sufficient. Accessibility: The Reindeer Park is located in a rocky forest area. A boardwalk leads from the parking lot to the park, ending with a few steps. The nearest larger parking lot is at the Haltia Finnish Nature Center, About 1 km before the Reindeer Park.
