Sederholm House - Children's town at the Helsinki City Museum
By the Senate Square, in the oldest quarters of the city, lies the Sederholm House, completed in 1757. It is the oldest house in Helsinki, now part of the Helsinki City Museum and belongs to the youngest in the city. The Children's Town is a family favourite where generations meet and learn about the past by doing things together. Play in an 18th century shop, write on a blackboard or examine everyday artefacts in the 1970s grandma's house.
At the Helsinki City Museum you'll also find a museum shop and café El Fant.
