A photography exhibition by SOS Children’s Village Foundation, The Right to Dream – the Lives of Young People in the Gambia presents the stories of nine young people as told by themselves.

The young people tell what it’s like to live in a country with poor educational and employment opportunities where becoming a refugee is often seen as the only route to a better life. They also share their hopes and dreams. Despite the difficulties, the young people believe in each other and a better future.
