Unforgettable tunes by Lasse Mårtenson – Ami Aspelund, Jannike and Nicke Lignell on stage!

This autumn, it will be 90 years since the birth of the late beloved singer and composer Lasse Mårtenson. Mårtenson’s career and his music will be honoured with a tour in October, featuring Ami Aspelund, Jannike and Nicke Lignell.

Lasse Mårtenson (1934–2016) became one of the most popular singers in Finland in the 1960s. His most famous songs are Finland’s entry to the 1964 Eurovision Song Contest Laiskotellen, Marraskuu, Iltaisin, Mä lähden stadiin, Rikas mies jos oisin and Nousevan auringon talo (The house of the rising sun).

Music composed by Mårtenson for the film Myrskyluodon Maija (Stormskerry Maja), directed by Åke Lindman in 1976, has become especially popular.
