Silmien takana Club: Anna Järvinen

The Swedish-Finnish singer-songwriter Anna Järvinen will perform and have an interview at the Silmien Takana club in September.

Anna Järvinen has become known e.g. from his solo albums recorded with the Swedish band Dungen and from the hit Nuori ja kaunis (Young and Beautiful) made together with Olavi Uusivirta.

Born in Finland, but moved to Sweden as a child, Järvinen came to the attention of the general public in 2007 with his acclaimed debut album Jag Fick Feeling. The texts of Järvinen, who grew up between two languages ​​and cultures, move somewhere between the everyday and the dreamlike, in small, fleeting moments. 

In Järvinen's music, there is a longing for a world that perhaps never existed as such, but which the songs and their performer make come true. The theme of the evening is therefore Being Finnish.
