The beloved Scandinavian Music Group has been delighting listeners with its unique music for twenty years already. With nine studio albums released, the band derives its strength from life-long friendships and a common desire to create something new. This has resulted in a long career, during which Scandinavian Music Group has gone from cool guitar rock to folk songs and on to elegant art pop. The band’s musical core has remained the same: the unmistakeable melodies of guitarist Joel Melasniemi and lyrics of vocalist Terhi Kokkonen.

At Huvila, Scandinavian Music Group takes a deep dive into their career with a concert that includes an intermission. Normally a seven-member group, Scandinavian Music Group comes to Huvila with an expanded ensemble entitled Ikuiset ystävät and consisting of the band’s top musician friends.
