Sari Airola & Katri Kirkkopelto: Tarinasoppaa – Story Soup
What do you need to make story soup? At the very least, jars of plot jerky, sacks of story roots and, as a spice, the seeds of fabulous characters.
What do you need to make story soup? At the very least, jars of plot jerky, sacks of story roots and, as a spice, the seeds of fabulous characters.
And, of course, an amazing pantry with plenty of food for the imagination. This exhibition attracts visitors to mix their own imaginative soups from the first seed of an idea to the final story and feed them to the endlessly hungry Story Gobbler at the end of the exhibition.
Illustrator-authors Sari Airola and Katri Kirkkopelto are well known for their many beloved children's books. In addition to the Story Gobbler, the creators have included their own characters and stories from over the years to this functional exhibition. That is why you will be able to find Molli, Viivi, Silivili and Sisu in this showcase.
Workshops will be held in connection with the exhibition during Children's Rights Week.
