Twenty years ago, a terrible plague swept across the entire southern province, sending the Prince and Princess to their graves and leaving the heir to the throne, Ofelia, without her parents. As she has grown up, the responsibility for the court has rested on the shoulders of substitute princess Silvia. Now grown up, Ofelia is about to marry her court gardener – how unheard of!

But the carefree honeymoon is about to be cut short when a mysterious visitor opens the veil of eternity, and life at court is no longer a bed of roses. Whispers fill the stone corridors, but has an echo distorted the message before it reaches its listener?
